    The masterplan for the Qatar University Campus proposed to expand the college facilities to teach an estimated 25,000-30,000 students from the current 8,000 students. It also includes one of the nine World Cup stadiums being built as part of the Qatar World Cup 2022 event. The stadium will be converted to a student centre and an Olympic village to provide student accommodation in a legacy mode. The expansion will also provide R&D facilities with residential, retail, leisure, hospitality, culture, community, and commercial components. The transportation plan includes a proposed LRT system and shaded links to the buildings.

  • Scope of work: Cost consultancy services for the masterplan providing estimates for buildings and infrastructure. De Leeuw provided budget options from concept design till final detailed masterplan.
